A Look At: The Tuxedo Jacket

The tuxedo jacket is about that effortless androgyny that’s perfected by immaculately tailored yet lightly relaxed pieces and a minimalist silhouette. Martin Greenfield, the iconic tailor brought this bespoke quality to his debut collection of women’s wear with four essential hand-made blazers exclusively created for Edition01.

“We’ve all seen Helmut Newton‘s iconic image of YSL’s Le Smoking: a model with slicked-back hair, cigarette clutched casually in her hand, a statuesque, androgonous figure on a Parisian street. The whole look is perfectly tailored. It’s the epitome of feminine-meets-masculine.”

The Kate Blazer Inspired by Kate Lanphear’s signature look: timeless, androgynous and always a little bit punk.
